Born in Parkersburg, WV on May 09, 1990.
Michael weighed 6 lbs 12 oz. and was 18 in. long.
He got his middle name from his Grandpa Ernest Dale Cale.
He was so sick when he was born.
He spent a week in the hospital when he was 4 months old.
This picture was taken when he was in the hospital he was allergic to his formula.
His foot is taped up with his IV in it, since he was so little and and had it in for a week the really taped it up.

He passed away on July 03, 2005 at the age of 15 years 1 Month and 23 days old.
We moved to Marietta, Ohio when he was a few months old.
I can't even explain the feeling of going to the hospital in the middle of the night.
They came to the house and said Michael was in an accident. They wouldn't tell me anything. I couldn't figure out how or what happened.
He wanted fireworks that weekend. I told him no. I was afraid he would get hurt. I never thought when he called me a 9:19 pm to ask if he could stay all night that would be the last time I talked to him. I think about that night so much.
Seeing him there at the hospital. Them telling me he was shot in the back of the head.
Not knowing if it was better that he didn't know what was about to happen to him.
And so mad that he had to die. Wondering if he knew, if he hurt.
It still hurts to think about.

This picture his brother Matthew took of Michael sitting on Matthews bed playing his guitar was taken a few weeks before he died. Matthew had it made in to a 5x7 and gave it to me framed. I cried and cried and hugged Matthew.
